Painted coffin with the remains of the deceased Iti, photographed in the museum. His tomb was discovered intact during the 1911 campaign by researcher Virginio Rosa. The image documents the body’s advanced state of decomposition, which led Ernesto Schiaparelli to request a new burial at the Monumental Cemetery in Turin in 1926.
